Royal Nairobi Golf Club

This involved the renovation of the recreational area, swimming pool and changing rooms. The existing swimming pool was converted from a 2.5m deep diving pool to a recreational pool of 1.5m depth. This involved filling up the pool with hardcore toe the correct depth and introducing a new swimming pool floor slab. The existing pool was a skimmer pool which was converted to a deck pool by the introduction of a reinforced concrete channel around the pool and a new balance tank. New open bandas were introduced around the pool. The main banda involved the design of steel trusses to support the roof and reinforced concrete columns to carry the trusses.
